Job Summary: Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) services include full-service CFO Advisory Services, controller, bookkeeping, vendor bill processing and payment, customer invoicing, payroll processing and tax reporting, and sales tax preparation. In this role as a member of our CAAS group, you will be providing Accounting Manager-level accounting services, including month-end review and closing of financial records, processing payables and receivables, and various other accounting operations for assigned clients. Responsibilities: · Oversee and manage responsibilities for assigned CAAS transaction staff · Oversee timely, efficient processing and accurate payment of vendor invoices · Oversee accounts receivable invoices and application of payments · Perform monthly accounting reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts for assigned clients · Perform accounting system clean-ups · Prepare month-end close for assigned clients · Assist with financial reporting Qualifications: · B.S degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience · Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting · 1-year supervisory experience required · Strong leadership skills to execute and build team success · Experience with QuickBooks preferred · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Excellent communicator · Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy · Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills · Able to manage priorities and workflow · Commitment to excellence and high standards "Bowers" is the brand name under which Bowers & Company CPAs, PLLC and Bowers Advisors, LLC, independently owned entities, provide professional services in an alternative practice structure in accordance with applicable professional standards.
