Akur8 is looking for a Marketing Project Manager for the US market, to join our Marketing team in order to support our growth by taking full ownership of major marketing projects.

Akur8s ambition is to become the global leader in insurance pricing, with the US market as our top priority. Our marketing efforts are directed towards becoming the top of mind reference in non-life insurance pricing.

To serve this objective, we want to invest on branding and awareness, ensuring that Akur8 is present and visible at all insurance pricing related occasions, be it industry events, publications, actuarial associations etc.

As an organized, proactive and driven individual, your role will be to project-manage all large-scale initiatives serving this objective.

Your mission includes the following responsibilities :

Manage and coordinate events to support the Sales team

  • Review and select most relevant events
  • Execute on Akur8s US event marketing strategy
  • Plan and monitor event progress to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Manage event logistics
    • Sponsorship package requirements
    • Setup and booth creation
    • Coordinate participants and speakers
    • Coordinate merchandise (print assets, goodies etc.)
    • Manage event-related reporting and KPIs

      Your mission will extend to various types of events :
      • Externally-organized industry events
      • Akur8s own events
      • Webinars on insurance-related topics

        Manage and run Akur8s digital marketing campaigns and initiatives
        • Manage marketing initiatives: calendar, channels, next steps of digital marketing growth
        • Run digital marketing campaigns and initiatives
        • Animate and grow Akur8s social media and media presence
        • Identify trends and insights to optimize initiatives and related spend
        • Monitor performance of digital marketing initiatives

          Adapt marketing content to US market needs
          • Product brochures
          • Event booths
          • Marketing visuals etc.

            You will be based in our New York office, but traveling frequently for events.


            We're looking for an experienced professional looking for challenges in a fast moving organization:
            • You have 2-3 years of experience in B2B Marketing in the Tech industry (Fintech experience is definitely a plus)
            • You have managed large marketing projects in the past
            • You are looking for an operational marketing role in a fast growing tech startup
            • You are very organized and are able to efficiently multi-task and project-manage
            • You are autonomous, proactive, you like to take relevant initiatives and are eager to learn
            • You are a team player and are happy to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, both external and internal
            • You have ideally worked in international settings
            • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
            • In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus

              Important: You must possess an employment status that will allow work from our New York City office.
