Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketplace Marketing Manager will be an integral part of our Marketing and Marketplace teams, developing and executing strategies to scale our brand in our online marketplaces. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives when solving complex problems and is excited by the opportunity to leverage marketplaces for brand building. The ideal candidate will have experience working across all aspects of an Amazon third-party (3P) seller account. The Marketplace Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketplace team to execute growth strategies including ratings & reviews, PPC & other advertising, listing optimization, content creation, and promotional campaigns for PetHonestys Amazon and Chewy channels, and all future marketplaces.

This role will be based out of PetHonesty's New York City, NY or Austin,TX office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies including but not limited to ratings & reviews, PPC advertising, promotional strategies, & listing optimizations
  • Collaborate with Amazon PPC agency to scale growth while improving ad efficiencies (AMS and DSP)
  • Develop and support marketplace review strategies to ensure product listings remain competitive from launch through maturity
  • Partner with Growth and Retention Teams to build and optimize user funnels
  • Leverage analytic tools to monitor KPIs and reporting, and effectively communicate performance to the team
  • Work closely with internal Design Team to create content for marketplace initiatives
  • Build and implement CRO strategies to improve conversion rates on product listings and all touchpoints of the marketplace funnels
  • Develop and test off-platform traffic-driving strategies
  • Find, evaluate, test, and prove out untapped growth opportunities
  • Keep updated on industry and competitive trends and regularly informing the team of noteworthy items and opportunities

    • 3+ years experience executing growth strategies for a brand selling on Amazon (3P seller experience preferred) including scaling ratings & reviews, AMS, DSP, and deal schedules
    • Experience managing content creation for marketplaces, including listing images, product descriptions, and A+ content
    • Knowledge of paid social & CRO a plus
    • Highly effective written and verbal communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
    • A self-starter that proactively uncovers value and can act with little guidance
    • Strong project management skills
    • A scrappy team player willing to roll up their sleeves in a hyper-growth, start-up environment
    • Grasps concepts easily and is not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
    • Passion for putting the customer first
