Schedule: 1st & 2nd Shifts Available 7:30AM - 4PM or 4PM - 12:30AM Plus Overtime Pay Rate: $33 - $35 / hour Job Summary: We’re looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This is a temp-to-hire role with a well-established manufacturing company. The right candidate will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing a variety of production machinery to support smooth operations and reduce equipment downtime. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions to maintain production and quality. Perform repairs, maintenance, and improvements on machines. Fill out required documentation of set up, maintenance and modifications. Communicate updates, issues, and concerns with superiors, operators, and other mechanics. Set up and break down machines. Document major repairs or adjustments in ERP system. Conduct preventive maintenance activities as required. Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; additional certification from a technical or trade school is a plus. At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, ideally within cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environments. Solid mechanical skills with proven experience maintaining production machinery. Familiarity with electrical systems, basic PLC troubleshooting, and facility utilities. Capable of reading and understanding technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals. Understanding of safety regulations, GMPs, and preventive maintenance principles. Flexibility to work overtime as required. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA, cGMP).
