Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Customer
Service Representative is primarily responsible for assisting
current and potential customers, recommending storage solutions and
performing associated administrative duties. Essential Job
Functions Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner Ask
probing questions and listen carefully to analyze customer needs in
order to recommend best storage solution Provide excellent customer
service in person and over the telephone with renting storage units
Read, understand and explain contracts, lease agreements and
associated fees to customers Prepare, process and review contracts
and other documents Conduct guided facility tours and assist
customers in choosing appropriate storage unit Act as expert on
Company services and inform customers of all services Assist
customers in viewing account balances, process payments and answer
billing inquiries Provide timely feedback to management regarding
customer concerns Maintain up-to-date customer information in the
computer system Assist management in creating reports for
submission to Corporate Headquarters Conduct daily physical
inspection of all storage units to ensure facility meets Company
standards for safety and cleanliness Reconcile inventory of all
storage units Conduct merchandise inventory and notify management
of product needs Provide administrative assistance and support
Adhere to and encourage others to follow all Company policies and
procedures Perform all duties in a manner consistent with Company
quality assurance standards Perform other duties as assigned

adverse environment conditions Qualifications High School Diploma
or GED 2 years’ customer service experience Bilingual
(English/Spanish) preferred elf-storage experience preferred Prior
experience using self-storage computer systems preferred Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities Ability to effectively work as a team and
maintain a positive environment Ability to multi-task and complete
assigned duties within prescribed timeframes Excellent customer
service skills Ability to engage customers in a positive way Strong
computer skills Sufficient understanding of the English language to
be able to read and understand contracts, agreements and comprehend
instructions Basic math aptitude, sufficient to add, subtract,
multiply and divide Strong attention to detail Excellent
organization skills Ability to prioritize tasks and establish goals
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to reliably and dependably adhere to work schedule Desire
