Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to provide
essential maternity leave coverage in a K-12 school setting in
Pennsylvania. This role offers a valuable opportunity to work
directly with students across various grade levels, supporting
their communication development and educational success.
Responsibilities include delivering individualized speech and
language therapy services to students, conducting assessments,
developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and
families to ensure effective intervention. In the spring, the
position will transition to serving itinerant students in a nearby
area, requiring adaptability and strong organizational skills.
Qualified candidates must have school-based experience, active PA
licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and hold the
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Completion or ability to
obtain PA clearances is required. Reliable transportation is
essential, as this is an onsite position. Interviews will be
conducted via Zoom. Key Qualifications: - Active Pennsylvania SLP
licensure - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) - Prior
experience working in a school environment - Ability to obtain
necessary PA clearances - Reliable transportation for onsite work -
Flexibility to serve multiple locations within Lackawanna County
and Dunmore, PA Details: - Full-time, 35 hours per week - Part-time
candidates may be considered - Contract role beginning as soon as
possible - Assignment ends August 7, 2026 - One opening available
This position does not include teletherapy opportunities and
