Job Description Job Description Job Title: 1st Shift - Hardware Job Description Join our dynamic team as a 1st Shift Hardware Specialist, working Monday through Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality flame-cut products, ensuring precision and adherence to manufacturing specifications. Responsibilities Adhere to company policies to maintain a safe workplace and follow the department's housekeeping requirements. Collaborate with team members to produce various flame-cut products, meeting or exceeding production and quality standards. Calculate the proper size tolerance of fabricated products and use measuring devices to ensure conformance to specifications. Set up, adjust, and operate machines and equipment. Understand and follow best practices, department priorities, and customer requirements while reading and understanding JHAs. Read, interpret, and understand production sheets, manufacturing manuals, prints, and reports. Select appropriate raw materials, hardware, tools, tags, and equipment for flame-cut products. Identify and report any equipment, operational, or safety issues. Perform and report on the Preventative Maintenance Program and any maintenance issues. Move and handle materials as necessary. Understand and follow the company inventory system. Complete all necessary reports and forms. Pack products as required. Perform minor repairs on machines and equipment. Provide training and instruction to other personnel as requested. Assist in other areas of the plant as needed. Essential Skills Experience as a material handler, machine operator, or production worker. Knowledge of industrial sewing and sewing machine operation. General labor and production experience. Proficiency in machine operation, packaging, and inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to perform minor equipment repairs. Capability to train and instruct personnel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Landisville, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
