Engineer (PE) - Civil/Structural Design the Bridges That Connect
Communities Fisher Associates is seeking a Bridge Project Engineer
(PE) to lead the design, analysis, inspection, and load rating of
critical transportation infrastructure. This is an exciting
opportunity for a licensed Civil or Structural Engineer who wants

improve lives. What You’ll Do as a Bridge Project Engineer Lead
bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and
foundation design. Develop design plans, specifications, and cost
estimates for bridge and transportation structures. Maintain
detailed records of bridge design documents, reports, and budgets.
Participate in project planning meetings and align tasks to meet
scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Support project managers
with schedules, documentation, and presentations. Ensure designs
adhere to state and local standards, regulations and safety codes.
Review plans and technical deliverables to ensure quality,
accuracy, and constructability. Conduct field inspections, prepare
detailed bridge inspection reports and analyze foundation design.
Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs and
attend site visits. Collaborate and communicate effectively with
clients, subconsultants and regulatory approving agencies. Mentor
junior staff and support their technical development. Requirements:
What You Bring, Your Expertise as a Bridge Project Engineer B.S.
degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Master’s preferred.
10 years of transportation experience with a strong background in
structures and bridge design. Professional Engineering License (PE)
preferred or ability to obtain it. Proficiency in MicroStation,
STAAD and Bridge Design Software. Familiarity with state DOT design
standards (NYSDOT or PennDOT preferred). Professional performance

$95,000-$135,000 annually Actual compensation may vary based on
relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors.
