following daily key responsibilities: • Develop, modify, and apply
rigorous quality principles for both in house and purchased
software based systems, ensuring compliance with project, process,
and contractual objectives. • Validate test equipment (including
HIL systems) by designing, specifying, and executing comprehensive
inspection, verification, and validation test methods. • Establish
overall operating criteria that drive the software quality program
and create/maintain robust development and maintenance processes. •
Define and execute an audit strategy to guarantee compliance with
all system and software procedures. • Continuously evaluate and
analyze the software quality system to identify deficiencies,
implement corrective actions, and verify that reliability metrics
meet established standards. • Conduct thorough software product
reviews covering: ? Requirement specifications ? Design documents ?
Source code ? Test plans and procedures ? Tools, techniques, and
methodologies • Ensure proper requirement allocation, traceability,
and testability across the entire product lifecycle. • Proactively
develop innovative, cross disciplinary solutions to complex quality
challenges with minimal day to day direction. • Guide major
projects from concept through completion, making long lasting
decisions that shape the organization’s technical posture. • Engage
regularly with senior leadership on strategic quality matters. •
Contribute new concepts and best practice frameworks and leverage
full spectrum expertise in industry standards and company practices
to drive continuous improvement and keep the organization at the
forefront of software quality. • Some travel (~20%) will be
required for this position. This position does not support
teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our
Lockheed Martin Space facility in King of Prussia, PA , and be
expected to work in the office. To be effective, you will need to
possess these basic qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a STEM
discipline. • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle
models. • Software Quality, Software Engineering, or Systems
Engineering experience in Requirements Analysis,
Design/Development, Product Integration and Test. • Ability to
interpret software design and code. • Able to travel ~20%. • You
will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to
maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, and SCI eligible, to support
this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and
background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for
access to classified information. To be effective, ideally, you
should also have: • Microsoft Office Proficiency – Advanced use of
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools. • Independent Work
Capability – Thrive in high?complexity environments with shifting
priorities and dynamic schedules. • Team Collaboration – Strong
organizational and communication abilities; adept at working within
cross?functional teams. • Metrics Development & Analysis – Create,
interpret, and act on data?driven metrics to highlight concerns and
promote best practices. • Issue Communication & Problem Solving –
Effectively engage diverse audiences to surface issues, facilitate
discussions, and generate solutions. • Agile/Lean Development
Experience – Support software development teams operating under
various Agile frameworks. • Quality Systems Knowledge – Thorough
understanding of internal quality processes and external quality
standards. • Toolset Expertise – Hands?on experience with software
development and planning tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Code
Collaborator. • Process & Product Evaluation – Conduct assessments
to verify compliance, effectiveness, and continuous?improvement
opportunities. • Ability to write code in C, C++, or Java • ASQ
Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) • Knowledge of AS9100
requirements • Knowledge of AS9115 requirements • Security
certification • Cybersecurity Fundamentals – Knowledge of network
security, threat landscapes, cryptography, and access?control

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits
