Job Description Job Description Role Purpose: Effective
utilization of all Electrical Mechanical Engineering skills to
improve our operations, machinery, controls, through the
installation of upgrades in PLC, pump controls, systems controls,
diagnostics and troubleshooting to improve the daily operation of a
High-Quality Foam Production and Fabrication Plant.
Responsibilities: · Manage projects assigned by management · Manage
engineering and maintenance budgets · Oversees ERMs initiatives ·
Participate in all new equipment evaluations and recommendations ·
Working knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Mechanical systems ·
High level of adaptability and foresight for innovative approaches
to problem solutions · Ability to understand and communicate the
priorities of our operations · Identification of problem, analysis,
and the institution of corrective actions · Assist and/or
coordinate complex system of troubleshooting efforts · PLC
Programming, Diagnostics, Troubleshooting and Repair · Upgrade
current electrical equipment and services · Diagnostic of machinery
electrical problems · Design and development of machine control
systems to improve operation and reliability · Provide input,
supervision, and execution of various new equipment installations
and integrations · Supervise hourly employees in the execution of
their daily duties and contractors during equipment installations ·
Formulate and recommend electrical / mechanical improvements and
modifications to achieve optimum efficiency · Participation in all
new product/process installations · Proposal and purchase of
necessary equipment · Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
employees while enforcing GMP's and good housekeeping · Serve as
coach and mentor to Employee Involvement Teams as required ·
Executes the necessary action needed to maintain the production of
a quality of our products while lowering the total cost of
production · Conducts training and motivation to the employees by
coaching to improve their efficiency and effectiveness · Define
objectives and provide guidance to subordinates · Leads
departmental meetings Qualifications: · Working knowledge of
Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Equipment ·
Knowledge of all types of fabrication, processing machinery, and
equipment · Ability to understand and communicate the priorities of
the manufacturing operation. · Perform 'hands on' direction to all
maintenance workers and employees · Above average diagnostic
skills, where a controlled methodical approach is taken to problem
solving and troubleshooting · A high level of adaptability and
foresight for an innovative approach to new product launches ·
Sophisticated programming and troubleshooting skills for
programmable logic controllers · Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from
four-year College or university and five years related experience
and/or training or equivalent combination of education and
experience · 5 – 8 years related work experience Company
