Job Description:

The Global Strategic Alliance Program (GSAP) Business Development Manager will strategically and tactically drive business development and integration initiatives across the PEI GSAP accounts. This is an excellent role with the ability to work collaboratively across the business to deliver optimal outcomes for PEI's GSAP clients.

The PEI Global Strategic Alliance Program formalizes and implements a global program for the top 100 accounts. The GSAP strategy includes a proactive and consultative sales process to deliver the highest quality customer outcomes through the widest possible use of PEI products.

GSAP implements proactive account plans, supported by gap analysis.

GSAP firms have a global reach and are trusted long-term clients of PEI. New and renewal revenue opportunities as well as multi-year agreements are imperative to the success of the GSAP program.



  • GSAP Account Managers will grow strategic relationships with top 100 clients responsible for account plans and driving sales. 25-50 accounts will be part of the GSAP Business Development Manager territory.
  • Facilitate and drive growth across the PEI product range which includes events, membership subscriptions and advertising. Proactive gap analysis and account plans developed for all GSAP accounts working collaboratively with the Finance Business Analyst.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual growth goals for the top GSAP accounts.
  • The GSAP Account Manager will curate commercial solutions tailored to the customer's specific needs and work across the global sales organization to implement the annual or multi-year programs.
  • Develop a plan that reflects existing and prospective brand spend for each clients;
  • Create an ongoing record of your activity within the company CRM system.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders across sponsorship, marketing solutions, subscription products and marketing to deliver excellent account managements to GSAP clients.
  • GSAP Business Developments will focus on KPIs for the overall accounts. KPIs include retention rates, strategic calls, strategic emails, outreach engagement, GSAP customer upsell revenue, GSAP cross selling revenue, GSAP multi-year agreements.

    • 5+ years of sales and/or partnership experience
    • Degree level education.
    • Prior annual sales target of above $1 million and history of surpassing goal.
    • Proficient in CRM and Lead generation systems, PowerPoint and excel.
    • Excellent Communication Skills.
    • Experience of work on products focused on financial institutions.
    • Experience working across product, sales, and marketing to facilitate long term client agreements and solutions.

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
      • Excellent Interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
      • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under important revenue goals.
      • Proven ability to multi-task and work both independently and as a team player
