Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager is responsible for the Americas recruitment and talent development at diptyque and BYREDO. This role will help drive strategy around recruitment and talent. This role assesses companywide developmental and recruiting needs to drive initiatives and identifies and help to implement suitable solutions.
-- Own full-cycle recruitment which encompasses sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates
-- Develop creative strategies and solutions to expand the candidate pool and successfully fill tough-to-fill requisitions.

-- Partner with hiring managers to develop target candidate profiles and sourcing strategies to ensure high potential, diverse talent for all positions
-- Influence, build relationships and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and business partners
-- Provide weekly status reports, assess risks/challenges, and drive solution oriented results
-- Develop and leverage assessments and tools for candidates and hiring managers to streamline recruitment process

-- Build customized strategies and diverse candidate-pipeline opportunities for anticipated needs as well as identify/resolve areas of potential risk.
-- Assess competitive landscape, analyze trends, create metrics and understand business needs to develop highly effective and proactive recruiting strategies.
-- Explore latest recruitment trends and technologies in order to provide recommendations to overcome hiring barriers
-- Research, establish, and maintain relationships and agreements, with partnership of HR Director, with Recruitment and Staffing Agencies- Act as a liaison between the hiring manager, human resource partner and the partnered agencies on expected outcomes and results
-- Build relationship and be point of contact with candidate throughout hiring process
-- Prepare and extend job offers
-- Coordinate and participate in external Job Fairs and other recruiting initiatives to position us to have strong employer branding
-- Manage employee referral program
-- Manage candidate reference program
-- Align training initiatives and goals with the organization
-- Manage training budget
-- Oversee and develop new hire/new manager onboarding and orientation
-- Create training and development programs as needed
-- Partner with HR and 3rd party training and development programs
-- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
-- Work with leadership to assess training needs
-- Leverage succession plans and internal talent tools to increase internal hiring and develop skill gaps
-- Develop tools as needed to leverage team talent, gaps, succession and risk management
-- Partner with managers to mitigate skill gaps or risk
-- Manage annual appraisal process in conjunction with HR
-- Establish the system, process and monitoring for the development of succession candidates and key talent across the organization
-- Leverage Talent Management metrics and develop practical tracking and reporting methods
-- Provide Strategic Leadership and guidance to business leaders to ensure the success of initiatives
-- Support other HR projects as needed based on company needs, personal development opportunities and interests-- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES-- A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition/staffing in house or on the agency side-- In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting and employer branding techniques-- Familiarity with a variety of different selection/interview methods -- Hands on experience promoting openings through social media and digital tools-- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills -- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite -- Curiosity, confidence, optimism and empathy-- Resilience and ability to thrive in ambiguity-- Active Ambassador to the company, interfacing with candidates and hiring managers-- Attention to detail, accuracy and organization -- Critical thinker with problem-solving skills-- Self-starter, able to think a task or project through all necessary steps and follow through-- Customer service mindset-- Strong knowledge of Human Resources and specific recruitment laws
