    The Role: As the Director of International you will be responsible for and growing the International market, in line with the company's overall global strategy and goals. You will report to the Head of International and will be in the company's New York, NY office. The Director of International will partner closely with the headquarters team to understand the global platforms for marketing, pricing, product and supply chain, locally adapting and implementing the global platform to meet the needs of the International markets and guiding the Central team in its execution. This role will also help in developing and executing International market and sales strategy. The ideal candidate will be a confident and collaborative leader, driving the international expansion and leveraging the global brand reputation.
    How You'll Thrive:Account Management
    • Partner with Head of International and Senior Leadership team to set long range plan and go-to-market strategies for International markets.
    • Own key account management of designated territory.
    • Develop strong and durable relationship with retail partners inclusive of Buyers, Category Managers, Social Media, Merchandising and Marketing teams within designated territory.
    • Own the ongoing day to day operations and key trade initiative compilation, follow-up and follow through.
    • Coordinate customer meetings and distributor visits (decks, samples, printing, scheduling, preparation and day of needs)
    • Own NPD sell-in and sell through with retail partners, as specified, ensuring the best possible 360-degree programs and appropriate support.
    • Work to achieve annual retail and net sales goals set.
    • Collaborate with finance teams internally to effectively manage P&L and budget reviews, retail sales data analysis and monthly demand plan financial alignment.
    • Track spend and return on investment within the International budget parameters set.
    • Act as the International Interface between retail partners and Product Development, Planning/Inventory, Production, Merchandising, Creative, Social, PR and Operations ensuring all requirements are met.
    • Stay up to date with internal developments ensuring 'International' input.
    • Ensure weekly communication with the International field team.
      Trade/Retail Marketing/PR
      • Adhere to the creative briefing process in place for International asks ensuring realistic timelines are given.
      • Own distribution of all marketing assets to retailers in a timely manner.
      • Own compilation of Retail Marketing plans by retailer ensuring that they are kept up to date at all times.
      • Own seasonal Market Week scheduling, weekly retail partner calls.
      • Define, agree (in conjunction with Head of International) compile, coordinate and track ROI of promotional activities (Customer Specific Promotions, Paid Media, In- store Marketing, Events etc.,) with Brand Marketing team.
      • Coordinate Sephora/retailer led PR opportunities and social requests (e.g., Press Days, social takeovers/lives/reposts etc).
        • Interface with Product Development, Planning/Inventory, Production, and operations regarding pertinent Marketing Calendar updates & newness deadlines.
        • Assist Operations with managing sample forecasts and shipment.
        • Coordinate and help develop and track launch plans for all new products, in conjunction with internal partners, ensuring forecasts are gained and shared internally.
        • Coordinate with VM and Operations on all new store activities and assortment revisions including adding new Milk Makeup items to Gondola assortments.
        • Coordinate and ship comps and samples when needed - excluding education gratis
        • Own price benchmarking document updates
        • Work in collaboration with regulatory teams to ensure what assortment can be confirmed based on country specific compliance requirements. Share with cross functional internal teams in accordance.
        • In accordance with the pricing benchmarking document and US pricing, define a pricing structure with the Head of International for all NPD together with annual price increases. Ensure the price change process is adhered to.
        • Ensure all promotional and replenishment orders are processed in a timely and accurate manner, according to lead times.
        • Maintain documents on a regular basis to keep files up to date with current products/launches with customers, as well as internal documents.
        • Maintain an accurate MMU distribution list.
        • Handle all the set-up forms - NPF, NIF
        • Set up all newness in Genesis systems (EU specific)
        • Liaise with Visual Merchandising, Operations, Marketing and Creative teams to stay informed on product information and changes.
        • Partner closely with Logistics and Production teams on ship and back-in-stock dates to inform customers.
        • Compile and distribute product images and copy for DTC customers
        • Pull, organize, and record selling reports and assist with customer analysis.
        • Coordinate new customer set up as needed.
        • Provide analytical assessment of competitor insights, initiatives, and in market activity to Product Development team development, product positioning and pricing.

          We'd like YOU to have:
          • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from four-year college or university required.
          • 8-10 years of related work experience in sales and marketing in global organizations, specifically within the beauty and cosmetics industries. A thorough knowledge of the International cycling market and its consumers is strongly preferred.
          • Entrepreneurial approach to operating and growing a business unit, with direct responsibility for P&L management.
          • Knowledge of effective sales & marketing practices and procedures, including analytical techniques used to accurately forecast sales and measure the effectiveness of sales & marketing programs.
          • Exposure to supply chain, product sourcing, operations, importing, warehousing and financial planning.
          • Ability to convey enthusiasm to others, well-developed leadership skills, proven ability to train, coach and inspire subordinates and peers to achieve their personal best.
          • Ability to establish rapport and relate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as business associates outside the company.
          • Well-developed organizational and time management skills. Ability to set priorities and meet reasonable deadlines consistently.
          • Experience in developing strategic partnerships and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
          • Great project management ability - organized and detail-oriented with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
          • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
