Job Title: Director of AnalyticsDepartment: Revenue DepartmentReports to: Vice President Revenue OptimizationThe Director of Analytics will be responsible for providing detail analytical reporting and KPI's for Rooms, All Ancillary Products, F&B, Guest Satisfaction and Marketing ROI's on a weekly, monthly, quarterly as well as an ad hoc basis.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creates, prepares, generates, and distributes daily, weekly and monthly reports using current data management systems. Provides analysis of pace, trends, demand and market conditions, and communicates data for all revenue generating products, both rooms and Ancillary
  • Create, prepare, generate and distribute weekly and monthly reporting utilizing guest service channels, Unifocus, Knowcross, Social Media and Zingle. Develop tracking to determine guest related issues, and root cause
  • Creates, prepares, generates, and distributes weekly and monthly analytics for all Marketing campaigns
  • Assist with the achievement of company objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends; determine system improvements.
  • Assist in ad hoc reporting, for all F&B outlet, HR and any other department needing analytical support. Popular items, Firepit Inventory, Reservations vis Open Table,Next Level Duties:
    • Lead by positive example, establish and maintain positive communication and professional demeanor throughout the office
    • Conveys information, both written and verbal, that is clear, precise, and always understood by all parties at all levels. Ability to streamline and simplify complicated information. Timely in responding to requests for help and information
    • Provides useful data to operational departments to effectively schedule according to business demands
    • Handle customer (internal and external) complaints as needed and appropriate
    • Creates and enjoys a competitive environment, which sets and achieves higher goals than others and utilizes metrics, scores and measurements to measure and celebrate the team's success.
    • Possesses an ongoing need to improve their work and often implement new ideas to improve the goals of the business.
    • Other duties and/or projects as assigned from leadership
      Must Have Personal Qualifications:
      • The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 years-experience in Revenue Generating Analytical role and operations within a brand or independent resort or other similar industries with a focus on analytics with a proven record of success
      • Must have excellent knowledge regarding all facets of related technology (Property Management Systems, Central Reservation Systems, Call Accounting Systems ACD, Interfaces, Sales & Catering, SynXis/CRS, InfoGenesis, Siriusware, DataVision and will possess a blend of both operational and sales expertise
      • A self-starter, with fresh eyes and an insatiable appetite for information, will be key to success
      • Must be innovative yet analytical; a thoughtful communicator who comes from purpose and is undaunted by challenges or stressful situations
      • The candidate will have a high degree and a genuine commitment to integrity
      • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to exercise good judgment in making decisions required
      • Positive and solution-oriented attitude required
      • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, have a sense of urgency to complete projects and be detail oriented required
      • Must work well with others and work across departments
      • Strong customer service skills required
      • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required
      • Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment required.
