Encompass are looking for an Alliance Director within the channel to join the Strategic Alliances team as we expand our presence into North America. The Alliance Director will be responsible for executing the Strategic Alliance teams strategy to assist the fast growth of this division within Encompass. The successful candidate will manage existing strategic partnerships with a focus across North America. The role will mean engaging with partner clients and assisting them with all partner led activities in taking the Encompass product to market and managing relationships going forward within existing channel accounts. Encompass is looking for a candidate that can initiate and create new opportunities within targeted key accounts, think independently, work collaboratively and have a constant drive to find solutions that are fit for purpose to drive revenue. The successful candidate will have a remit across key accounts within region and focus on driving revenue to our direct sales function and report to the Head of Channel and supported by the President of North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review current partner coverage and where needed implement consolidation initiatives to ensure partners can be enabled to be successful.
  • Build and own the programs and activities with our partners that promote joint solutions and grow market share through these relationships.
  • Engage at executive and management levels to create joint business plans to be able to measure success
  • Participate in reviews of pipeline, deals and forecast with the direct business team and report to the wider business
  • Establish and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans to open up new channels to market
  • Act as the primary contact to our North American partners

    • Relevant sales/partnership experience in a channel centric sales environment.
    • Be an inspirational and motivational leader who can bring a mission, a vision and a sense of purpose of what success looks like.
    • Existing network and relationships in the partner ecosystem with a strong understanding of KYC client onboarding and data requirements
    • Strong background in partner development and proven success of overachieving
    • Requires a blend of innovation and experience to create new partnerships
    • First-class negotiation skills with the ability to obtain the best possible terms with our Partners.
    • Sound business and commercial/legal awareness
    • Outstanding written, verbal communication and presentational skills with experience in dealing with C-level
    • Ability to act as a trusted advisor across all business teams to support the strategy, negotiation and execution of enterprise agreements
    • Willing to take responsibility, make decisions and recommendations in pressured situations
    • Natural urgency and desire to own projects through to completion
    • Ability to communicate complex legal and commercial matters to non-legal stakeholders
    • Understanding of SaaS and considerations for business risk management
    • Outstanding organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
