DescriptionQualifications: Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work. Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required. Three years' progressive administrative experience related to OPWDD and working directly with individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities. Knowledge in clinical psychology, behavioral and psychiatric assessments, and diagnosis. Valid New York State Driver's License.This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement strategies for program growth. The right candidate will demonstrate a functional understanding of best practice in ABA clinical care in a quantitative and qualitative manner and oversee Registered Behavior Technicians .Join an environment that promotes new ideas and risk taking. This pivotal position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals, staff, and families. Essential Functions:1. Lead and support a team of Behavior Intervention Specialists in all areas of clinical programming to assist individuals in maximizing their independence.2. Oversee, monitor, and ensure clinical staff compliance with required paperwork, and deadlines. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures, governing the provision of services.3. Serve as a liaison to the Psychiatrist and any other consultants assisting in supporting appropriate behaviors.4. Ensure appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented for the collection of quantifiable behavioral data at specified intervals to support the continuous evaluation of behavioral support plans effectiveness and to assist each individual in attainment of personal goals. Analyze data documentation to identify and prevent incidents of behavioral concern.5. Develop and supervise training programs for staff development to support evidence based best practices in delivery of care.6. Coordinate and perform quality reviews of all clinical work.7. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and collaborate with agency administrative staff and multi-disciplinary teams.Reports to: Chief Operating OfficerSupervises: Staff Clinicians / Behavioral Intervention SpecialistsAdditional Functions:1. Stay abreast of current literature and resources available to assist staff in maximizing effective service delivery.2. Participate in staff in-service training programs as required.3. Develop methodologies to eliminate restrictive physical and medical intervention.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Occasional pushing, pulling, squatting, and bending.Occasional need to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with assistance.Occasional use of physical intervention (SCIP).Potential for exposure to blood and body fluids.Frequent driving.Prolonged sitting and computer work.QualificationsEducationPreferredMasters or better in Psychology.Masters or better in Social Work.Licenses & CertificationsRequiredNYS Driver's License
