Position SummaryAs a Food Service Manager in Training, you will learn supervisory and technical skills that are in alignment with the company's mission, its retailing philosophies, and its operational strategies. This hands-on-role in store operations provides insight into the food service/branded restaurant operations, for your successful transition into a Food Service Manager role.? ? Key Accountabilities

• Creating exceptional customer experiences
• Learn and demonstrate proficiency in the operational procedures including daily paperwork, cash/banking transactions, ordering food, equipment and supplies, and appropriate company reports
• Understand and practice strong inventory control methods
• Actively participate in all employee-related management functions including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, motivation, discipline, performance appraisal, conflict resolution, and the administration of human resources policies and initiatives.
• Understand and perform P&L analysis
• Assume responsibility in the food service manager's absence.Job RequirementsExemplify our core values of integrity, accountability, service, respect, teamwork and innovation at the managerial level as well as demonstrate excellent leadership skills. Additional requirements include:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
  • Previous management proficiency in related retail environment
