This role will play a crucial part of the finance digital transformation journey with responsibility for strategic planning, execution, and leadership to ensure seamless data migration while also developing and executing strategies to unlock the potential of data as a strategic asset across the finance function. The preferred location for this role is New Brunswick, New Jersey and may require up to 25% travel domestic/international. Data is a core strategic asset for Johnson & Johnson Finance, driving strategic initiatives and fueling the multi-year global SigniFi Finance Digital Transformation roadmap. The transformation program will modernize our foundational transactional processes and harmonize them into our Central Finance S/4HANA system driving standardization, growth and efficiencies. Reporting to the senior director Enterprise Finance Data Management, the Finance Data Migration and Enablement director plays a crucial role in unlocking the power of financial data to drive strategic decision-making and operational excellence across the organization. This role requires a proven track record in developing and executing data migration strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless flow of data across various systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving initiatives that utilize data to uncover new insights, improve efficiency, and add value to the business. Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy and protocols, considering business requirements, data quality standards, and project timelines to ensure the seamless transition of financial data to the SAP Central Finance S/4HANA system. Team Leadership: Lead a cross functional team, including IT, finance, and project management, to gather and analyze data migration requirements while providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of data migration. Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment within the team. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data migration requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Architecture: Collaborate with IT on the technical Extract, Transform and Load architecture assuring repeatable systematic approach Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data quality standards and validation processes to ensure the integrity of converted data. Assure thorough testing is performed to identify and resolve data migration issues. Risk Management - Proactively identify potential risks and challenges associated with data migration and develop mitigation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance data migration processes through continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learned, industry best practices and emerging technologies. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enable the finance organization to leverage data for informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and innovation. Strategic Data Enablement: Develop and execute strategies to enhance data accessibility, understanding, and usage across the finance function. This involves establishing a framework for data governance, standards, and quality to ensure data reliability and security. Innovation through Data: Identify opportunities to leverage financial data for predictive analytics, risk management, and strategic planning. Drive initiatives that utilize data to uncover new insights, improve efficiency, and add value to the business. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with IT, finance, operations, and external partners to ensure that data enablement strategies align with business goals and ERP implementation objectives. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on data initiatives ---
