Goryeb Children's Hospital-Atlantic Health SystemLocationMorristown, NJDate PostedMay 14, 2025Atlantic Health System/Goryeb Children's Hospital is seeking a Program Director for our Pediatric Residency Training Program in Morristown, New JerseyThe Pediatric Residency Program at Goryeb Children's Hospital combines features of university programs with a community-based children's hospital setting. We handle over 3,000 admissions and 95,000 outpatient visits annually, conduct cutting-edge research, and employ more than 100 faculty members in general and subspecialty pediatrics, many of whom are dedicated clinician-educators.Goryeb Children's Hospital is situated in the diverse community of Morristown, NJ, known for its patient- and family-centered care. Our program admits 12 residents per year, allowing personalized learning and mentorship. Our parent organization, Atlantic Health System, is affiliated with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.The Program Director role involves 60% administrative and 40% clinical duties. Administrative tasks include serving as a role model for patient-centered care and overseeing Chief Residents. The Director will develop, implement, review, and assess the pediatric training curriculum, ensure resident competence, and provide regular feedback. They will align the program with departmental and institutional GME strategies, contribute to the GMEC, and liaise with faculty.Qualifications:

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
  • At least 3 years' experience as an Associate Program Director or Director
  • Proven success working independently and in teams
