Deliverables/Principal Results Expected * supervision for the nursing staff* staffing for call-offs, on call as needed, organization of the shift* communicates and assists with admissions* discharges and pre-certifications* ongoing preparation for surveys* provides new hire orientation* maintains positive working relationship with co-workers* properly instructs and guides subordinates in client care* responds to; and effectively resolves all client and or staff problems/issues in a timely manner* Communicates all client and staff issues with Nursing Supervisor* Other duties as assigned.Technical Competencies To ensure the delivery of quality nursing care to all clients through the provision,supervision, direction and management of client care. Strong background in supervisory duties, knowledge ofHIPPA laws, state licensing regulations, trainings as required. Knowledge of CARF regulations.Job-related Behavioral Characteristics Demonstrates professionalism, leadership, confidentiality, strong social communication skills, time-management,organized. Must possess skills to communicate effectively and interact well with people of diverse backgrounds.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
