Laboratory Technician - In Vivo, Tissue Culture & Cell Biology (under Good Laboratory Practices) MB Research is seeking an entry-level, or experienced, Laboratory Technician to join our testing team. Laboratory technicians are involved in and responsible for various aspects of regulatory-based and customized studies involving fertilized chicken eggs, waste bovine and porcine corneas, and/or cell culture systems.MB Research Labs offers:

    • Perform technical procedures (e.g., test substance formulation, body weight collection, dose administration, cell culture, etc.)
    • Routinely collect (typically handwritten) raw data and generate basic summaries of procedures performed in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLPs), study protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Operate basic laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, thermometers, pipettors, microscopes, incubators, fume and flow hoods, autoclave)
    • Perform routine equipment calibration and maintenance
    • Work independently and in small groups to prepare for study implementation
    • Read study protocols and participate in protocol review meetings
    • Read and comply with Standard Operating Procedures
    • Perform all other related duties as assignedQualifications (Education and Experience):
      • Bachelor's degree (BS) preferred, or equivalent experience in biological sciences or related discipline
      • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the above-mentioned education and experienceOther preferred skills/experience include:
        • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (namely Word, Outlook and Excel)
        • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLPs) regulations is ideal
        • Experience in cell culture, using sterile technique is ideal
