The Mental Health Worker serves as co-team leader and is responsible for providing team and individually delivered therapy and case management to children and their families in the home and/or community. This position is required to work hours that coincide with client schedules, including day, evening, and/or weekend hours.We are hiring a Mental Health Worker If you are looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people facing mental health, and substance abuse challenges, then join our team!$3,000 stay BONUS for full time employees!Bonus is for full time employees and paid out according to training schedule.$500 after 4 weeks$500 after 3 months$1000 after 6 months$1000 after 9 monthsPay rate: $17.00/hr3 years paid training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model through the Philadelphia Child and Guidance Center (eligibility for state certification upon successful completion of training)Schedule: we are hiring for multiple shifts/schedules.Responsibilities:Provide team (60%) and individually (40%) delivered therapy to children and their families in the home and/or the community.Works collaboratively with lead therapist to assure all client and family treatment needs are met.Utilize safe crisis prevention techniques as deemed appropriate.Document treatment data/results that are clinically relevant on progress notes and submit in a timely manner (within 24 hours of each encounter).Complete client intake paperwork per company/program guidelines and regulationsComplete recurrent assessments within the regulated timeframesAssist the Mental Health Professional with development of a treatment plans and assuring they are being done timely in relation to regulated time frames.Assist/participate in client psychiatric evaluations and medication checks.Collaborate with other providers to secure appropriate aftercare/discharge services and community linkages supports during the course of treatment.Create monthly meeting invitation letters and mail accordingly.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other miscellaneous meetings, as necessary.Provide 24/7 crisis intervention support through an on-call rotationTransport clients using personal vehicle as necessary (travel/mileage reimbursement)Position Requirements:Required Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, or anthropology or any bachelor's degree in human services; ORHave 12 college level semester hours in humanities or social services and be enrolled for certification by; ORRegistered Nurse and be enrolled for certification by OMH, the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a mental health family-based worker.3 years paid training in Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model through the Philadelphia Child and Guidance Center (eligibility for state certification upon successful completion of training)Work Experience: Minimum of one years' experience in a CASSP System Program. Submitting electronic health records and time worked within expected time frames.Attend mandated, group, individual and team supervision as scheduled.Assists in maintaining an organized schedule to include team and individual service delivery in accordance with regulations.Adhere to scheduled sessions and deliver appropriate authorized units of service prescribed.Training/supervision - Has an authentic interpersonal style that engages others and encourages high performance in Attend trainings and conferences as directed by supervisor, in accordance with company policy, and pursuant to applicable regulations.Attend required supervision sessions and staff meetings in accordance with program/company requirements.Participated in 3-year Exosystemic Structural Family Therapy training program through Philadelphia Child and Family Training CenterCommunicating Effectively (Supported by Seek First to Understand then to be Understood) -Share's information. Clearly Conveys ideas in a manner that engages others and helps them understand and retain the message.Communicates with other providers and coordinates care regularly with all individuals involved in treatment.Adheres to HIPAA privacy regulations and Department of Human Services/CASSP principle guidelines.Adheres to Mandated Reporter protocol and effectively communicates concerns with program management. Work collaboratively with members of the treatment team and other service providers to ensure comprehensive case management.
