Job Description:
Location: Wayne County LPN: $46K to $57K/Year Nurse to Patient
Ratio 1:1 (one-to-one) Shifts: Monday-Sunday 6am-6p LPNs will be
working with individuals who have an Intellectual/Developmental
Disability (IDD), whom also have co-occurring medical diagnoses.
Typically, nursing cases through PAs Office of Developmental
Programs (ODP) support those who are in need of 24/7 round the
clock care, or close to it. This differs from most shift care
nursing and home care nursing because rather than visiting multiple
patients for an hour or 2 at a time, our nurses will typically have
an 8-12 hour shift with one patient. Additionally, we strive to
have each nurse fulfill their part time or full time hours with one
patient. Having consistent nursing is what is best for the people
we support and they very much appreciate familiar faces and the
care that comes with an individualized plan
