  -Job Function:
  
  • Day Shift.
    
  • 9am - 5pm.
    
  • Assess patients, establish priorities for care, and develop individualized nursing care plans.
    
    
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during examinations, testing, and treatment of patients.
    
    
  • Triage patient inquiries and effectively communicate test results.
    
    
  • Administer injections and medications as ordered by medical providers, ensuring compliance with state law and clinic guidelines.
    
    
  • Educate patients and staff on pharmacological effects and protocols, and document medical information in the electronic medical record as necessary.
    
    
    Job Requirements:
    
    • 2 years of related work experience as a Registered Nurse, with 1-2 years in an acute care setting required.
      
      
    • Chemotherapy certification preferred.
      
      
    • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN), or extensive experience as a Registered Nurse may be considered in lieu of the BSN.
      
      
    • Must be articulate and possess a professional demeanor.
      
      
    • Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration.
      
      
    • BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
