  Skills:
  • NYS RN License (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required)
  • 2 years of cardiology, telemetry, or VAD experience (Required)
  • EPIC experience (Highly preferred)
  • 1 year of travel experience for Travel positions (Preferred; not required for Per Diem) Education:
    • BSN preferred
    • Associate Degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in BSN program Duties:
      • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to stepdown patients
      • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
      • Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex cardiac patients
      • Provide patient and family education on condition management and discharge planning
      • Utilize relationship-centered care models and contribute to quality and safety initiatives
      • Participate in quality improvement and performance review efforts
      • Lead or assist with charge nurse duties as needed
      • Contribute to professional development, mentoring, and a positive clinical environment
      • Perform hourly rounding, support patient throughput, and maintain accurate records
