Per Diem Advanced Practice Provider (Dermatology)
Job Location: Brooklyn, NY (Onsite).
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 Contract.
Pay rate: $130/hr.
Schedule: 5/14 (9:00am- 4:30pm)
Full Description:VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Advanced Practice Provider (NP) with dermatology experience to provide skin cancer screenings and general dermatological evaluations onsite at a private business in Brooklyn, NY. Our office arranges the patient appointments, provides all the equipment and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care in an office setting.
Responsibilities:

• Provide skin checks, skin cancer screenings and small procedures (as needed).
• Consult with patients to understand their dermatological health concerns.
• Advise/ refer patients for follow-up care.
  
• Provide telemedicine services for follow-ups (as needed).Requirements:
  
  • Active clean Nurse Practitioner license to practice in NY.
  • Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
  • Advanced practice certification in dermatology (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct dermatology experience following post graduate training.
  • A collaborating physician is necessary unless state requirements for independent/autonomous practice are met.
  • Proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Patient education driven.
  • Personal laptop or tablet required.
