Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Ventura Medstaff to find a
qualified NICU RN in Ithaca, New York, 14850! Pay Information
$2,268 to $2,468 per week About The Position Travel NICU/Post
Partum RN is needed for 12 weeks to start ASAP in a facility in New
York. NY license is required. Shifts consist of 12 hour nights. The
facility is also willing to block shifts. Weekend requirements –
They do schedules in 6 week blocks in that 6 weeks they need 4
weekend shifts. (Friday/Saturday night) they can combine them. Work
4 Fridays etc. or whatever works. Holiday Requirement – Travelers
will be placed in a grouping with preset holidays assigned.
Certifications required are BLS, NRP, and PALS. Number of Beds – 3
bed NICU proper and 4 family centered room in rooms. Nurse to
Patient Ratios - 1:1 for HI acuity, 1: 2-3 for step down or special
care babies ( like feeder growers, or NAS babies). The average
daily census – 1. Floating policy - Someone with post- partum or
L&D experience would be a bonus as those units are part of our
department, traveler must be comfortable being the NICU RN in
deliveries and during C-sections. Comfortable with NRP to lead care
