Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking a Sonographer to join a leading fertility clinic in NYC. This is a great opportunity to contribute to reproductive healthcare in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Job Function: Day Shift. Perform screenings and measurements including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Assist with exam preparation and setup for specialized procedures. Conduct routine lab tests and enter proposed orders for provider approval. Obtain prior test results from outside providers, labs, and radiology offices. Collect blood and lab specimens as requested by physicians. Prepare and administer designated medications under provider direction. Job Requirements: 2 years of Medical Assistant experience; fertility or women’s health preferred. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting or Occupational Studies. BLS certification preferred (American Heart Association). Must have experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
