RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Brooklyn,
New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU -
Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/28/2025 -
Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights -
Employment Type: Travel Duties: • RN to patient ratio – 1:4,
ranging from young adult to geriatric • Monitoring patients with
medical equipment such as catheters, feeding tubes, tracheostomies,
ventilators and cardiac monitors • Care for patients transitioning
out of the ICU requiring more care and attention than patients on a
general medical-surgical unit • Frequent patient assessments and
proper escalation of a patient’s change in medical condition •
Responding to cardiac arrest and rapid response codes Skills: •
Evidence of graduation from an accredited National League of
Nursing School. Baccalaureate degree or satisfactory equivalent
combination of training, education and experience• Licensed to
practice as a professional nurse in New York State• Two years of
the following experience is required: Medical/Surgical SD or ICU
experience, IV Insertion, phlebotomy and conscious sedation• BLS &
ACLS certification• Demonstrates satisfactory completion of age
specific competency Education: Required: New York State RN License,
Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA
