Rate: $ 58 - $ 60 per hour on W2 Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse
(RN) is a professional healthcare provider who delivers safe,
competent, and quality patient care based on nursing theory and
research within the Cardiology Unit at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
This role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and a
commitment to delivering high-quality care aligned with Mount
Sinai’s Relationship Centered Care model. Responsibilities: Patient
Care: Deliver care using the nursing process and Relationship
Centered Care principles Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
patient needs Educate patients and families on care plans and
health promotion Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on care
delivery Perform clinical procedures and manage patient transitions
Patient Experience: Conduct Bedside Shift Reports, Admission
Welcomes, and Hourly Rounding Promote cultural sensitivity,
empathy, and respect Use evidence-based practices to address
patient concerns Provide effective service recovery when necessary
Quality & Safety: Maintain compliance with institutional and legal
standards Identify safety hazards and escalate concerns
appropriately Participate in quality improvement initiatives and
peer reviews Use clinical systems for documentation and tracking
performance Operations: Serve as charge nurse when required Ensure
adequate resources and supplies for patient care Facilitate patient
throughput and coordinate with clinical leadership Professional
Development: Engage in lifelong learning and clinical advancement
Contribute to shared decision-making and team initiatives Uphold
ethical standards and support innovation in nursing practice
Education: Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Accepted: Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience or
enrollment in a BSN program Certifications: Active NYS RN License
BLS and ACLS (required) EKG Course (required) Experience: Minimum 2
years of recent Med/Surg experience with telemetry Minimum 2 years
of RN experience 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred (not
required for Per Diem) EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
