RN for a Med/Surg position on day shift, requiring a PA or compact
RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit with
potential assignment to floors 5, 6, or 7, or a Med/Surg/Tele unit
Patient population primarily includes adult medical-surgical cases
Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00 Assignment length is 13
weeks No local travelers accepted for those residing within a
50-mile radius Requested time off (RTO) must be less than 1 week
Returning travelers must meet facility eligibility guidelines
Candidates are expected to function independently and manage
Med/Surg patient assignments as required Requirements Active PA or
compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 1 year
of recent Med/Surg experience required No certifications may expire
within the first 30 days of assignment No employment as a permanent
staff member at any CHS facility within the past 2 years Cannot
have any work history gap of 90 days or more within the last 12
