Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/01/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM • Call required every 6 days including weekends • 13-week assignment with 48-hour guarantees available • 1 year travel experience required • 2 years OR RN experience required • BLS certification required • Must be willing to float to pre-op and endoscopy units • Patient ratio of 1:1 or 2:1 • Work with 13 beds on unit • Use Cerner EMR system • Blue scrub color required • Auto offers only - no interviews • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care • Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel • Ensure supplies, case timeliness, and communication with families • Update physician preference cards • Scrub and assist physicians during surgical cases • Supervise personnel delivering patient care • Follow State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive surgical services with a modern 13-bed operating room unit.
