Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Med-Surg) Location: Honesdale, PA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: November 3, 2025 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Schedule: Every Other Weekend and Holiday | No Block Scheduling Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions. - Monitor and interpret vital signs and cardiac rhythms. - Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. - Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation. - Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes. - Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards.
