Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: MRI Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a day shift travel assignment requiring ARRT MRI certification and 3-5 years of MRI experience. Responsibilities - Work in a 140-bed hospital MRI department - Handle 8-10 MRI cases per day with a monthly department volume of 110 cases - Perform both inpatient and outpatient studies including MRI brain, spine, abdomen, and extremity exams - Utilize Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro equipment (experience preferred) - Perform IV injections and a variety of MRI screening and safety procedures - Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Call is required every other weekend (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and every other weekday (5:00 PM - 7:00 AM) - No local travelers permitted per 50-mile radius rule - Responsible for performing and adjusting imaging parameters for studies involving soft tissue, arteries, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast - Provide timely imaging services under Radiologist and departmental protocols - Must not have worked as permanent staff at a CHS facility within the past 2 years - RTO requests must be less than one week - No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment - Scrub requirements not specified Requirements - Minimum 3-5 years of prior MRI technologist experience required - Current ARRT MRI certification required - Experience with Siemens Magnetom Symphony Maestro MRI preferred - License required if applicable - No lapses in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639889.
