Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 4
10-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM with every other weekend
rotation; willing to consider 5 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4 PM.
Job Description Responsible for performing a variety of
standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations while
operating imaging equipment and maintaining related records.
Responsibilities - Perform standardized radiological radiographic
and fluoroscopic examinations utilizing proper patient positioning,
identification, and exposure techniques. - Operate all equipment
within the modality efficiently. - Set up and adjust immobilization
and radiation protective equipment and devices. - Review and
analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and
suspected pathology for examinations. - Assist physicians with
various procedures as necessary. - Report equipment malfunctions
and request necessary repairs or adjustments. - Maintain related
records and notations accurately. - Assist in Quality
Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required. - Participate in
the educational training of students. Required Experience /
Certifications / Licensure - Graduate from a Specialty Training
Program in Radiologic Technology. - Certification as a Radiology
Technologist within 24 months from the American Registry of
