Job Description Pride Health is hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 12-week contract assignment in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA / Danville, PA Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Assignment Dates: 01/05/2026 Schedule Details Shift: AM Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts Hours: 36 hours/week Meal Break: 30 minutes Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and every other holiday Job Description The Respiratory Therapist will assess patient respiratory care needs, develop and implement care plans, and deliver high-quality respiratory therapy services while ensuring excellent patient and family experience. Key Responsibilities Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments and establish appropriate care plans Administer respiratory therapies, manage airways, and initiate/manage mechanical ventilation per protocol Monitor patient status, collect and analyze ABGs, and respond to emergent respiratory situations Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients/families, and support continuity of care. Education & Requirements Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy specialty training program – Required Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification – NBRC (Required).
