Schedule Shift: Saturday/Sunday one weekday (varies depending on the need) 36 hours, 3x12s: 9 AM - 9:30 PM. Call required the weekday prior to shift from 3 AM - 6 AM. Job Description The CT Technologist operates CT scanners and assists in Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures performed in CT areas. This role is responsible for acquiring digital images for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease under the general supervision of radiologists and according to established protocols. Responsibilities - Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire medical images. - Ensure patient preparation and positioning, as well as compliance with established protocols. - Perform CT Interventional Procedures and maintain knowledge of procedural protocols. - Apply knowledge of anatomy and clinical histories to execute appropriate imaging protocols. - Maintain compliance with ImageGently guidelines and radiation safety standards. - Engage in post-processing of CT images and ensure quality control of scans. - Interpret technical factors to enhance image quality or scanning efficiency. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. - Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. - Ability to operate various CT systems across multiple locations.
