Med/Surg Tele Float Pool Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of
six (6) months to three (3) years of nursing experience. License:
Current NYS RN License Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA, HSI,
or American Red Cross) Must-Have: A graduate of an accredited
school of Nursing Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects,
promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN is responsible
for the prevention of illness and injury. The RN alleviates
suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response.
The RN advocates for the care of individuals and families. The RN
is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and
professional development. The RN promotes a caring and healing
environment for patient-centered care. The RN assesses, plans,
delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care. The
RN serves as a primary or accountable nurse, as designated by unit
assignment. The RN considers factors related to safety,

The RN utilizes a working knowledge of pharmacology to safely
administer medications. The RN shares responsibility for
productivity and effective resource utilization. The RN complies

continuing nursing education. The RN integrates nursing research
