We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a long-term locum tenens opportunity near Bloomsburg, PA. This role includes inpatient and outpatient responsibilities and offers a chance to work with a strong support team in a well-structured environment. Position Details: Schedule: Monday Thursday (7 AM 5 PM), Friday (7 AM 12 PM)Call Hours: 5 PM 7 AM (including weekends)Caseload: Clinic days: 4-5 patients in the morning before inpatient rounding/procedures Outpatient procedures: 6-8 per day before inpatient rounding/proceduresSupport Staff: 1 full-time MD, 2 per diem MDs, 2 full-time PAsEMR System: EpicHospital privileges required (estimated credentialing: 45-60 days) Required Specialty Skills: Upper GI Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices) PEG Tube Placement Esophageal Dilatation & Manometry Interpretation Small Bowel Biopsy Lower GI Endoscopy (Sigmoidoscopy - Flexible & Rigid, Colonoscopy with Biopsy/Polyp Excision) Liver Biopsy Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube Interested?
