Stepdown/PCU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Staff Duration: 13
Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum six
months to three years of nursing experience required. License:
Current RN License required. Certifications: BLS Certification
required. ACLS Certification preferred. Must-Have: - Experience in
a cardiac telemetry department. - Knowledge of cardiac medications
and treatments. - Proficient in patient assessment and care
planning. Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects,
promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN is responsible
for the prevention of illness and injury and the alleviation of
suffering through diagnosis and treatment. The RN advocates for
individuals and families in their care. The RN assesses, plans,
delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
When designated by unit assignment, the RN serves as the primary or
accountable nurse. The RN educates patients and families on health

mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preop/post op open heart, and
