Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Johnson City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,579 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 6 months to 3 years of nursing experience License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: CC experience Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN is responsible for the prevention of illness and injury. The RN alleviates suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human responses. The RN advocates in the care of individuals and families. The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Manages a group of patients, serving as a primary nurse or accountable nurse. Educates patients and families in health promotion and disease management. Utilizes knowledge of pharmacology and safely administers medications. Shares responsibility for productivity and effective resource utilization. Complies with all nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements. Actively participates in Nursing Shared Governance Model initiatives. Engages in professional development and continuing nursing education. Integrates nursing research and current evidence into practice. Provides a supportive learning environment for new employees and students. Follows organizational values and performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience: Nursing experience of six months to three years. Management experience is not required, up to three years acceptable. Five plus years of direct experience preferred. Collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written). Judgment and critical thinking abilities. Strong organizational understanding and planning skills. Effective problem-solving and quality assurance capabilities. Reliability and a focus on safety and risk management. Preferred Skills and Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting. Required Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Preferred Certifications and Licensure: Professional certification in a related nursing specialty.
