Job Description Job Description Our Cardiology practice is searching for a growth minded Physician’s Assistant/Nurse Practitioner that thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are in an extensive growth phase with new providers, a Nuclear Testing Center, and a new Echo Suite. If you are looking for an amazing opportunity with a strong team, apply here! We are looking for a full or part-time Nurse Practitioner/Physicians Assistant to work with several of our partner Physicians. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services, such as diagnosing ailments, conducting physical exams and performing routine medical screening. We are looking for a seasoned professional with Cardiology experience preferred. This position will be a hybrid position. The ideal candidate is someone that can split their time between working in our Cardiology office and working in a hospital setting. This is a great opportunity for a NP/PA to join a rapidly expanding company and work alongside our exceptional medical staff. The person in this role with be afforded autonomy as we have a company culture of collaboration and teamwork. This person will be an independent contributor as the office’s Triage provider, while contributing to the team when attending hospital rounds with an assigned provider. Responsibilities: · This care is delivered in defined inpatient and hospital-outpatient areas · Candidates selected will perform evaluation and management of the inpatient cardiovascular patient across the spectrum · Inpatient responsibilities will include facilitating patient discharges · Outpatient responsibilities include device, post-hospital, routine follow-up and triage appointments · Establish and develop relationships with patients and their families. · Diagnose patients and provide treatment for acute cardiology problems. · Collect and analyze information about patient's medical history. · Educate families about signs, symptoms, and treatments for acute cardiac problems. · Interprets medical tests in the context of patient care and explains results to patients · Assist Cardiology doctor through hospital rounds · Assist in patient triage Qualifications: · Master's degree in nursing · Must be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant/surgical assistant program or graduate of an approved nurse practitioner program · Cardiology experience required · Valid CRNP in PA · BLS Certification · ACLS Certification · Excellent communication skills · Ability to work in an office and/or hospital setting For questions or concerns, please contact Ali Gorson at 484-272-3270 ext. 3026
