Job Description Job Description Position Summary The Clinical
Director of Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative
Services (“MHOTRS”) at Hamilton-Madison House Behavioral Health
Services is responsible for the day-to-day clinical and
administrative operations for MHOTRS. This is an in-person position
with about 60-70% clinical responsibilities, including staff
supervision, direct clinical services, training, and case
consultations. The remaining 30-40% involves administrative
oversight such as ensuring compliance with risk management
standards, documentation audits, supporting grant deliverables,
productivity tracking, and participating in broader clinical
strategy and quality improvement efforts. Responsibilities Oversee
the daily operations of MHOTRS, ensuring smooth and efficient
program functioning. Maintain a small caseload to direct clinical
services to patients. Supervise mental health clinicians in the
program to ensure effective service delivery and staff development.
Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external
regulations, including OMH standards. Support quality assurance
efforts, including chart reviews, incident reporting, and
corrective action planning. Coordinate closely with Clinical
Coordinator, Medical Director and other program directors to
support integrated behavioral health and psychiatric services.
Support the management team in achieving organizational priorities
and operational challenges. Report directly to the Assistant
Executive Director, working collaboratively on program expansion,
grant management, strategic planning, and clinical initiatives.
Represent the agency at community outreach events, stakeholder
meetings, and professional forums as needed. Qualifications A valid
LMHC/ LCSW or Licensed Psychologist in New York State required;
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in mental health,
including: - At least 2 years in a clinical supervision role, and -
At least 1 years in a management role within a nonprofit behavioral
health agency. Bilingual English/Chinese or Spanish preferred but
not required. Experience working with multilingual Mental Health
Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS). Strong
understanding of regulatory compliance, clinical documentation
standards, and evidence-based behavioral health practices. Proven
ability to lead a mental health or multidisciplinary clinical team
effectively. Comfortable with data-driven supervision and program
oversight, including productivity metrics and quality improvement.
Knowledgeable Lower East Side community providers and resources.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, written, and communication skills to
work with a multidisciplinary team Sensitivity to diverse cultural
and linguistic populations Compensation: $80K - $85K (depending on
education and experience) Hours: 5 days per week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. (37.5 hours/week) Excellent benefits including medical dental,
