Join our healthcare team today!/n /n/nDialysis RN Job Details/n /n - Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)/n - Setting: Outpatient Dialysis Clinic/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 1, 2024 – September 30, 2024)/n - Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (8-hour shifts)/n - Hours per Week: 40 (hours not guaranteed if facility is closed on a holiday)/n - No on-call or holiday requirements/n - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1980–$2120/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State/n - Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Dialysis nursing and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing/n - Outpatient dialysis experience strongly preferred/n - Strong communication and organizational skills/n - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team/n /n/nDialysis Nurse Responsibilities/n /n - Coordinate and schedule procedures including Cath lab, Interventional Radiology, and Kidney Biopsies/n - Manage outpatient infusions (IV iron, blood transfusions, magnesium, IV fluids, and more)/n - Assist with in-office procedures such as tunneled dialysis catheter (TDC) removal/n - Provide follow-up on lab work and communicate results to patients/n - Facilitate referrals to Davita and Fresenius clinics; coordinate Kidney Smart training/n - Support genetic testing and medication prior authorizations/n - Set up venous mapping testing and ensure continuity of care for dialysis patients/n /n/n /n Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
