Job Description Job Description A temporary full-time opening is available immediately at The Seeing Eye's breeding facility located in Chester, New Jersey, for a Breeding Kennel Assistant. This position will only be for 3-4 months. The candidate for this position will be responsible for performing animal husbandry services for the dogs in residence at The Breeding Station at Chester. They will be providing these dogs with health care under the direction of attending veterinarians according to established protocols which ensure that the risk of introduction of canine infectious disease is minimized and thereby provide protection for immunologically naïve pups. Job Responsibilities: Cleaning both inside and outside kennel yards Feeding, bathing, grooming and other related duties Exercising and Leash Walking adult large breed dogs Qualifications: Prior experience in a kennel, clinic or horse barn required Job Specifications: Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Schedule will be Friday through Tuesday including both weekend days. Maximum of 40 hours per week. Can be flexible if fewer hours are needed. $20.00 per hour
