hands-on leader who leads beyond the title alone. This role calls

elevates those around them. Ciprani Consulting is conducting the
search for a licensed, experienced Senior Funeral Director on
behalf of a respected, long-established funeral home serving the
Montgomery County/Greater Philadelphia area. This opportunity is
well-suited for a compassionate and committed leader who respects
tradition while embracing progressive practices. The ideal
candidate will be directly involved in all facets of service, lead
by example, and ensure every family is served with the highest
level of care, dignity, and professionalism. Compensation Salary
Range: $115,000 – $125,000 Paid time off Compensation: $115,000 –
$125,000 Responsibilities: Minimal on-call professional
responsibilities with full-time support and removal staff. Client
Care & Family Consultation Meet with families to discuss service
options, pricing, and personal preferences with sensitivity and
clarity. Provide compassionate guidance and emotional support while
maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
Explain legal and regulatory requirements and secure all necessary
authorizations for cremation, burial, or transportation. Coordinate
viewings, visitations, memorials, and related services in
accordance with each family’s wishes. Service Planning &
Coordination Manage all service logistics, including scheduling,
transportation, music, floral arrangements, clergy, and printed
materials. Oversee the preparation and care of the deceased for
viewing in accordance with professional standards. Ensure every
funeral, memorial, or graveside service is executed seamlessly and
with exceptional attention to detail. Administrative & Regulatory
Compliance Prepare, file, and safeguard required documentation,
including death certificates, burial permits, and insurance claim
forms. Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local
regulations, as well as ethical and professional standards. Manage
both pre-need and at-need arrangements while maintaining accurate
and confidential client records. Operations & Facility Management
Maintain funeral home facilities in a clean, organized, and
welcoming condition at all times. Oversee inventory of caskets,
urns, memorial products, and related merchandise. Coordinate with
cemeteries, crematories, clergy, and service providers to ensure
timely and seamless service delivery. Community Engagement &
Outreach Serve as a professional ambassador for the funeral home
through community involvement and relationship-building. Support
marketing initiatives, community education, and local events that
foster trust, visibility, and awareness. Qualifications: Active
Funeral Director License in the State of Pennsylvania REQUIRED. 5
years of experience in funeral service operations is preferred. A
strong sense of ownership and accountability , you see things
through and lead by doing. Professional appearance and demeanor ,
creating a positive and lasting impression on families and
colleagues alike. Exceptional communication, organization, and
multitasking skills . Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and
be on-call as needed. A learning-based mindset with a commitment to
