Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: New York City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,249 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in New York City, New York, 10065! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty within the last 3 years. License: Nursing license required. Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA PALS, AHA NRP required. Must-Have: - BSN required. - Travel experience required. - Experience in a Level 1 trauma setting required. - Willingness to float to appropriate units. - Skills checklist compliant with specialty required. - EMR experience required. - COVID vaccinated prior to start date required. - Two references from the most recent assignment within the skill set required. Description: Position involves working in a float pool that covers general pediatrics, pediatric intensive care, and neonatal intensive care. Nights are scheduled from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Total hours required per week is 40.25, with a rotating schedule. Weekend work is required every other weekend. No on-call requirement. All candidates must have experience in a large academic setting. Candidates must be fully compliant with flu and COVID vaccination requirements. Scrubs must consist of navy bottoms and white tops or all white. Candidates must have a willingness to float within areas of acuity.
