Job Description Job Description CHOP - Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of ABA therapy based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model. What you will be doing: The Clinical RBT Trainer is responsible for new trainee growth and development at one to two local centers (arriving to their local center after week of Centralized Training) Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills Provide supervision to trainees during their first 4 weeks at CHOP - Soar Autism Center, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam Host bi-weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies Organize and host quarterly, center level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs (attendance optional) Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical RBT Trainer What we offer: Implement a unique model of ABA therapy!
