Job Description Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Care Supervisor for a local contract nursing job in Elmira, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor to work at a facility in Elmira , NY. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $65 / hour *W2 Shift Details: - Day Shift (6:45am-3:15pm) RN Supervisor, every other weekend, 8-hour shifts/40 hours a week - Night Shift (10:45pm-7:15am) RN Supervisor, full time, every other weekend, 8-hour shifts/40 hours a week. We could possibly split this to 2 part time RN night supervisors, every other weekend, 8-hour shifts/24 hours a week if we cannot find a full time. 26-week assignment. Job Responsibilities: - Oversee daily nursing operations and staff assignments - Ensure patients receive proper care and treatment - Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance - Provide guidance and support to nursing team - Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies - Assist in training and onboarding of new nurses - Address patient or family concerns and resolve issues - Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare staff - Maintain accurate patient and staff records - Report to nursing director or facility manager regularly The requirements are: - At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse Supervisor. - A valid and current RN license issued in the state of NY - A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) - Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
