Physical Therapist Location: Greene, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,097 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Experience: Previous experience in an approved medical facility. License: Possession of a current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York. Certifications: BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross). Must-Have: Ergonomics experience; ability to conduct ergonomic evaluations and functional capacity assessments. Description: Ensures Physical Therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments, as well as associated clinical documentation. Maintains specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality processes, communication and interaction standards, turnaround time, and information processing standards. Adheres to corporate compliance requirements and maintains the physical environment of care. Assesses patient strengths, limitations, and needs using standardized measurement, prediction, and evaluation tests. Develops and implements individualized short- and long-term treatment goals based on patient assessments. Administers and interprets clinical physical therapy services, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on patient response. Maintains accurate and timely patient treatment records, documenting progress and changes in electronic health systems. Ensures all documentation meets requirements of reimbursement and regulatory agencies, completed within two business days. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Participates in patient care conferences and collaborates with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care. Provides education to patients and families regarding treatment plans, safety, and self-care techniques. Participates in discharge planning and makes appropriate referrals, coordinating with vendors for durable medical equipment. Supervises and provides direction to Physical Therapist Assistants during treatment sessions. Maintains licensure requirements and pursues continuing education to stay current with professional standards. Engages in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care. The work setting is split between an onsite clinic and a manufacturing facility/warehouse setting. Experience in ergonomic evaluation and OSHA training is required. Primary focus includes injury prevention, early intervention, and returning workers back to work quickly. Preferred experience includes occupational medicine and industrial sectors. Typical day involves rounding the warehouse floors and seeing patients, connecting with HR business partners, and conducting follow-ups within the clinic setting.
